EnsoData Earns AASM Autoscoring Software Certification for EnsoSleep

EnsoData is pleased to announce that its FDA-cleared diagnostic AI analysis and sleep scoring solution, EnsoSleep, earned stage-specific autoscoring software certification from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

According to the AASM, the AASM Autoscoring Certification program is “designed to rigorously assess and certify autoscoring software systems that analyze adult sleep stages via in-lab polysomnograms, ensuring they meet the AASM’s high standards for accuracy and reliability.”

EnsoSleep uses AI and machine learning (ML) to analyze data from sleep studies to aid physicians in diagnosing sleep disorders. Organizations utilizing EnsoSleep experience significant time savings – on average, 62% for PSGs and 68% for HSATs. This opens up avenues for growth, provides opportunities to introduce new devices and programs, and boosts overall efficiency.

“We extend appreciation to the AASM for recognizing the high quality of EnsoData’s AI scoring software, acknowledging advancements in sleep medicine technology, and providing clinicians with confidence in the accuracy of AI scoring tools to assist in diagnosing sleep disorders,” said Sam Rusk, EnsoData Chief AI Officer, “EnsoData is committed to connecting the patient journey from diagnostics to therapy and this certification marks one more step toward achieving this goal.”

The landscape of modern sleep disorder centers is evolving, with a shift in the execution of daily operations. Thanks to advancements in artificial intelligence technology, highly precise autoscoring solutions are emerging as essential components in sleep facilities of tomorrow.
